The facebook-owned chat app has also said that WhatsApp will get status support for Jio Phone and dark mode will also be available on WhatsApp web.

#1. Animated stickers:
WhatsApp is coming soon with a great feature in the coming weeks, through which WhatsApp users will soon be able to communicate with animated stickers. Which will make it a lot more interesting than before. However, the development comes a day after large platforms such as Instagram and Telegram adopted it. Now it’s WhatsApp’s turn.
#2. QR codes
This Whatsapp new feature offer users a QR code to add new contacts after that will be easier for the introduction of this new feature.

#3. Expand a video during a group call
WhatsApp in April increased the group call limit to eight participants.
The platform will further add a video icon in groups with up to eight members. By tapping on the video icon, users will be able to start a group video call directly will all the eight members instead of individually adding them and users will be able to enlarge a participant’s video to full screen during a group video call.
#4. Desktop Dark Mode
Dark mode has been available on the mobile application for some time now. KaiOS users will soon be able to update WhatsApp status in the upcoming new WhatsApp update. This means that Jio phone users and other KaiOS users in India will only be able to share updates through limited WhatsApp status for 24 hours.
#5. Multiple device support
WhatsApp has been testing multiple device support for months. Once enabled, the feature will let users log-in to their WhatsApp account in more than one device at the same time. Currently, users can log-in to their WhatsApp account on a single device. Once the same account is logged into another device, it automatically logs out of the first device.
The company claims that these features are rolling out to users over the next few weeks, in the latest versions of WhatsApp. However, a few features like the changes to the group calls have already been leaked to users.
